I was just heading to the garden to harvest fresh lavender for my oil and had to stop. I has been so long since I made fresh lavender oil I wanted to affirm I was doing it “right”. Then I opened my inbox after a frustrating moment of reality and found this lovely video waiting for me. I don’t have the means to continue this journey deeper presently but I am SO grateful I have my notes from your classes on general herbal medicine making to review and refresh. I will never forget the process you showed me, specifically with fresh lavender extraction- I had never see that done before to extend shelf life. I sometimes feel like I need to know it all and I love how you brought light to that. The plants have their lessons and we are constant students of their work. Thank you again Kami for sharing the wisdom and healing of the plants. Calendula has transformed me into its light maker and follows my hands wherever they plant. I have been able to use the knowledge and skills learned with you to share my calendula oil-making with my preschool students and their parents for years now! No one knows how it stays so orange, but Kami does….
