My most recent AWE momwnt came about a week ago whwn i took my Bailee (My sheltie), out for her morning trip outside. It was about 7:00 a.m. and the sun was just coming up. I live in Eastern Washington in farming country.
The sun shown in the great mown fields to show a brilliant yellow contrasted against a darker cloudy sky. It was gorgeous! I did feel that AWE moment and stood there filling my senses with how beautiful it was. It's a sensory memory that will be with me forever.

awesome, I'm the first to comment?!?! I like your point that keeping our ability to be in awe of life and the world around us will keep us on the right path, healing ourselves and our world, a little tikkun olam if you will. My most recent awe moment was when a bat circled around me at dusk as I was outdoors feeding the dogs. It was a wonderful moment; I like to walk at twilight morning or evening in order to catch a glimpse of the few bats we have in our neighborhood. I miss the awe moments of dusky fields aglow with lightning bugs, or hearing the bobwhite quails of a morning. too many changes are happening.
