When I was in 5th grade(1963) I went to a friend’s house after school and she snuck us each some original Coca Cola syrup with soda and we would dance and dance! I prefer ferments for bubbles, carbonated water isn’t helpful to my system but this is a nice way to make a quick soda. Thank you. I grew lots of ginger this year so will try these and a ferment as well.

I’m thinking of just using a can of LaCroix for the carbonation, plus whatever flavor it would add.

In reply to <a href="https://kamimcbride.com/make-real-ginger-ale/#comment-12221">Donna Mann</a>.

Btw, I am making Tepache which I found makes a great soda replacement. I keep reusing the pineapple peel and there is less flavor but the fermentation is very active after a few batches so its just 1 day to make new batches and most of the fermentation is done in the fridge. I am going to add ginger and this will produce a version of gingerade. I have added a few vanilla beans leftover from making extract. It can create a cream soda w/ tiny little bean specks. Cheers!

We love strong ginger ale like Reeds Extra Ginger. I've wanted to find a recipe for homemade ginger ale for a long time so, I'm very excited and thrilled to try this. My problem is that I don't have a good juicer. Could you tell me the kind/ brand of juice you used in the video?

Thank you!! I want to make this sooo bad! 😏

You can dilute it as desired. My recipes are meant to be played with, so try different things.
