I love making all things rose! I use rose water and witch Hazel as a cooling face tonic in the summer, I have several varieties of herbal tea blend with roses…if it’s for calming, peace or sleep? Roses (lavender and chamomile are my go to). I just made a batch of simple syrup to add to teas and lemonades. I will be attempting to make this cordial this week! Sounds delicious! Thank you for sharing so generously your recipes and wisdom!

I tried making rose hip honey a while back. I just threw my cleaned out rose hips that were fresh picked that day into a bit of room temp honey and let it sit in a warm window for a month. Since watching your videos on the best way to make salves and oils I have learned that finely chopping and powdering some herbs is ideal to get the maximum benefits of the herb you are using. Thank you so much for your sharing your expertise. I was wondering with this rose petal honey recipe if you could use rose buds in place of the rose petals. I have a lot of rose buds I purchased from Mountain Rose for making my nighttime tea blend. Would they work as well if I powdered them and used them in this recipe?
