Dear Kami, I just love the story you shared about the lady who vanished into the woods. When I was a little girl, I lived in England and the violets there had a wonderful scent. We lived close to the Devonshire Violets Perfumery.Long gone now. I too would disappear into the woods and fall asleep in a patch of violets. Mum would ask “Where have you been all this time?” I answered “With the violet fairies.”

Kami, I wondering if I can use dried violet flowers. It’s now end of June here in upstate SC. I collected my flowers in February & march. I would prefer to use local raw honey for syrup.
