You need a 50/50 approach to your Home Herbalism if you want to truly access the depth and breadth of what the plants have to offer.
When it comes to using herbs, how do you know when you know?
You know what I mean……
How do you know:
How much of an herbal remedy to take?
When an herb is not right for you?
When to take it?
Which form to take it in?
When to stop taking something or switch gears to another remedy?
The thing is that no clinical study, book or course can exactly answer these questions for you.
Books and courses can get you started, they can put you in the ball park and provide a great foundation, but ultimately you are the one that is going to have to call the shots on the final details of how you use your herbal remedies.
You know the scenario…
You have an idea of which herb you want to take, but when you look it up in 3 herb books, one says 30 drops 3 times a day another book says 50 drops twice a day, or 3 cups of tea or maybe make it into a syrup…
Now don’t get me wrong, I LOVE all my herb books and every herb class I have ever taken and am SO grateful for all my herb teachers for making this possible
So, the thing is, not everything the plants do has been written down.
The plants are evolving just like we are.
Unfortunately, we’ve settled into herbal learning that is mostly focused on book and lecture learning.
The amazing things is that there is another level of wisdom that we can access directly from the plants that doesn’t involve books.
Science now tells us that the plants are constantly interacting and communicating with their environment.
If you are learning about how to use herbs to take better care of your family, you’ve got your herb books, you’re taking great herb classes and trying lots of medicine making techniques and delicious recipes.
AND that entire world of awesome books, teachers and courses is only 50% of what it takes to feel settled in your herbal studies.
What is that other 50%??
It’s your direct plant communication and intuition.
Ultimately somewhere along the line you have to make the final decision on how do you know?
You need a 50/50 approach to your Home Herbalism if you want to truly access the depth and breadth of what the plants have to offer.
The stronger your plant communication abilities are, the more confident and comfortable you will feel with all the minute decisions along the way that you will not find the answers to in a google search.
Over the past 30 years, I’ve helped over 1,000 students activate and deepen their plant communication skills. Some of them had already had this type of experience and many of them had no idea that plant communication even existed.
Now, my students say they can’t even really imagine what their herbal studies would be like without their plant communication skills.
Check out their testimonials at the bottom of this page

If this concept is new to you, ha, maybe you’re even wondering, “What the heck is she talking about, do I really need this for my herbal studies, or is this only for people with special spiritual gifts?”
Or maybe you’ve had the thought, this isn’t for me, I am not a meditator or how would I be able to trust knowing when plants are actually communicating with me when I’ve never really known if my intuition is legit.
I hear ya!
You don’t have to be a meditator or have any special gifts to do this.
There is nothing new or weird about this. We are simply activating a dormant part of your human biology.
One thing is for certain, we are ALL highly WIRED for deep perception of our environment. This is an innate ability that we just don’t recognize or cultivate in our culture.
There are some super simple techniques that you can easily learn, that even some of my most skeptical students have been amazed with.
