Lemon balm and rose petals are cooling and also have a calming effect. Passionflower calms the nerves and is the perfect tea for irritation that can come from too much heat.
Let’s make some tea!
Cool and Calm Summer Herbal Tea
Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 3 tbsp fresh lemon balm leaf
- 3 tbsp fresh rose petals
- 2 tbsp passionflower leaf
Instructions
- Put herbs and water into a large jar and put the lid on the jar.
- Let container of herbs and water sit for several hours.
- No need to heat it up, just let it sit on the counter or in the sun for at least 2 hours.
- Strain herbs from tea.
- Enjoy!

Kami, when a recipe calls for fresh rose petals is that from any rose (that has been raised with out pesticides or sprays of any kind). Or there only certain types of roses that should be used?
Hi Donna, Yes you can use any rose petals and yes, make sure they aren’t the commercial roses or just make sure they are organic
