How much do you like herbal recipes? Good herbal recipes. Time-tested herbal recipes…

I decided to do a little round-up of my most downloaded herbal recipes for you.

These aren’t recipes that I just made up for the blog post or to put into one of my books. These herbal recipes have a track record of 20+ years of use with my students and clients.

What I think is that really good recipes take time to shape. You start with some ingredients, and every time you make it, you get a little bit of a different, nuanced experience with that recipe.

With all the recipes out there on the internet now, what I really look for is experience. It is easy to throw a bunch of ingredients together and create beautiful photographs, but which recipes have a track record is what I want to know…

The herbal recipes I share have been around for awhile!

For 21 years I had a year-long herbal course where we gathered and made herbal medicines, and this is how the recipes in The Herbal Kitchen came to life.

More than 500 women passed through my courses during the time the recipes for herbal kitchen were created and every one of those women had their hearts and hands in on refining and perfecting these recipes.

Season after season and year after year, we made medicine in our medicine circles. We were building a bridge, laying down the track to normalize herbal medicine for our society, reviving the art of kitchen herbalism and bringing it back to life for our people.

So… not only do these recipes have a track record, they have the loving hands and hearts of years of herb students and clients giving feedback and letting me know which ones are REALLY family friendly.

I’ve also created a companion course for The Herbal Kitchen if you want to be personally guided through 35 of the top recipes from The Herbal Kitchen. You can click here to check it out.

So here they are, a few recipes from The Herbal Kitchen that people have given me the most feedback about that they love these recipes. I hope you have fun with them and make them your own.
