We can never get enough rosemary recipes! This plant’s dark green leaves and bright blue flowers ask us to stop and behold their beauty and healing power. Besides the alluring taste and scent, rosemary improves circulation, supports digestion, relieves headaches, and calms the nervous system. This invigorating herb gets everything in the body moving and can reduce fatigue and enhance mental clarity.
Here are five of my time-tested rosemary recipes so you can enjoy more benefits of rosemary in your food, drinks, and herbal remedies.
#1 Rosemary Pesto
Unlike basil, rosemary is an herb that you can get fresh all year long, so you can make up a batch of rosemary pesto anytime you want. Rosemary pesto is a wonderful condiment that adds zest and flavor to a wide variety of foods. It is delicious on eggs for breakfast. You can also use it instead of mayonnaise on sandwiches for lunch. I like to use rosemary pesto as a garnish on steamed vegetables or roasted chicken.
