Herbal Vitality Treats

Ingredients

  • 1 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 5 tbsp almond flour
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp rose water or hydrosol
  • 2 tsp spirulina
  • 2 tsp chia seeds
  • 2 tsp powdered rose petals
  • 3/4 tsp powdered cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp powdered cardamom
  • 1/2 tsp powdered ginger
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 to 2 cups shredded coconut
  • Sesame seeds or cacao powder for dusting

Instructions

  • Mix the tahini and honey together in a large bowl.
  • Add the almond flour, sesame seeds, and rose water and mix well.
  • Add the spirulina, chia seeds, rose petals, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, and vanilla and mix well.
  • Mix in 1 cup of shredded coconut. You want a thick paste that can be rolled into balls. If necessary, add more coconut.
  • Roll into small balls.
  • Roll the balls in cacao powder or sesame seeds.
  • Let sit out on the counter for 2 days to dry.
  • Store in a sealed container for up to 3 months.
