Cooling Summer Herbal Tea

Herbal tea is a delicious cooling refreshment that can squelch the heat of a sweltering hot summer day. Let’s ditch the soda filled ice chest and bring on the herbal summer teas!

Ingredients

  • cups water
  • 1 tbsp hibiscus
  • 1 tsp peppermint
  • 1 tsp lemongrass
  • 2 tbsp honey

Instructions

  • Put herbs and water into a large jar and put the lid on the jar.
  • Let container of herbs and water for several hours.
  • No need to heat it up, just let it sit out on the counter or in the sun for at least two hours.
  • Strain herbs out of tea.
  • Stir in honey to taste.
  • Garnish and enjoy.
