Herbal Foot Bath Recipe

Author: Kami McBride

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of fresh herbs or 1 cup dried herbs (see suggested herbs on page 2)
  • 1 gallon of water

Instructions

  • Make tea as you normally would for drinking.
  • Bring to a boil, turn off the heat, and let the herbs infuse for 1 hour with the lid on the pot. Now you have a huge pot of tea.
  • Leave the herbs in the water for the foot bath or strain them out. (I like to leave the herbs in, as they continue to infuse into the water and I enjoy their color and texture.)
  •  Reheat to the perfect temperature just before using.
  •  Pour the strained or unstrained tea into a foot basin or a large pot.
  •  Soak your feet for 10 minutes or for as long as you like.
  •  When you are finished, just pour the water and herbs into a garden bed outside.

Notes
