Hydration Tea

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of water
  • 3 tbsp of dried fennel seed
  • 1 dried of marshmallow root
  • 1/2 tsp of sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp of baking soda
  • 1 tbsp of honey

Instructions

  • Place dried fennel seed into a pot with a lid on it. I use stainless steel Revere pots; glass and enamel pots also work well.
  • Bring water and fennel seed to a boil and then immediately turn off the fire.
  • Add marshmallow root.
  • Let herbs steep for ½ hour.
  • Using a metal strainer, remove the fennel and marshmallow from the tea.
  • Add salt, baking soda and honey and mix well.

Notes

Drink up to up to 3 or 4 cups a day warm or at room temperature.
