All-Purpose Herbed Salt

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 2 tbsp powdered coriander
  • 1 tbsp powdered turmeric
  • 1 tsp powdered cumin
  • 1 tsp powdered fennel seed
  • 1 tsp powdered mustard seed
  • 1/2 tsp powdered star anise

Instructions

  • Mix all the ingredients together well in a bowl. Put the mix into a shaker or chosen dispenser for sprinkling on your food. Easy!

Notes

Storage: If you keep your herb salts in a jar with a tight-fitting lid, they can last for one year and sometimes longer. The salt and herbs cake together if they are exposed to moisture or if other foodstuffs get into the salt.
